Program Description
Soul Line Dancing is a social dancing phenomenon that is an easy and energizing way to get some exercise while enjoying some great music and good company. It’s a workout that doesn’t feel like a workout. Each dance is a choreographed routine set to music from the latest R&B artists to classic hits of the Motown and funk eras, gospel, zydeco, hip-hop, and everything in between.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

Specifically, Recreation offers an array of activities that encompass but are not limited to ice skating, aerobics, swimming, and gymnastics as well as more conventional activities such as track, basketball, baseball, and football. The Department offers after-school programs at the Jersey City YMCA and Armory and various public schools throughout the city.
