Program Description
Join us for an exciting program of Engineering through woodwork for a holiday day with kidbilt, Monday, January 15th Take a break from school on an exciting adventure in active project-based, hands-on setting for kids between 4-11 years old. The program is run at an indoor location at 85 Wayne Street, Downtown Jersey City with plenty of time spent outside (weather permitting). This is a full day camp for children where they learn to work with real tools building meaningful projects out of wood. We strongly believe children thrive in active, nature-based, outdoor settings where they are breathing fresh air and learning about their environment while creating their projects. We are very involved in community projects such as food distribution and environmental programs which we will involve the students in as well. We are accepting registrations for children between 4 to 11 years old in 2 separate age groups. Small groups of students will switch between outdoors and inside so that each group is separated. Our program is a forest school inspired where students spend a good portion of the day actively exploring our local nature spots and learning about nature while working with their hands. * 2 age groups: 4-7 years old, 8-11 years old

Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

About kidBILT
At kidbilt we offer full-day holiday camps, after-school classes, and special events for students ages 4 and up for making engineering projects out of wood, cardboard, clay, and paper. Students work with tools to make their projects while exploring the fundamental concepts of math, geometry, and physics. Boys and girls plan, measure and build objects of their own design, developing physical skills, spatial and mechanical reasoning, and acquiring an understanding of materials and conceptual thinking.
