Program Description
Jazz uses ballet technique for its base therefore we strongly recommend studying these techniques simultaneously, but not required. Jazz dance combines stylistic movement with intricate rhythms and body isolations. It also includes leaps and turns as well as upbeat combinations of movement. Jazz technique is designed to increase body control and coordination. Jazz dance has continued to evolve with various ethnic and cultural influences since its origin. We will introduce several styles ranging from blues to pop for dancers of all abilities for ages 7 & up. Jazz dancers will perform in the year-end, Broadway-style recital in May.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.
