Program Description
Mathematics is not only about numbers or equations. The primary goal of our preschool mathematics curriculum is to develop children’s mathematical and logical thinking abilities from an early age. On this basis, we hope our kids will begin to use mathematical methods to understand the world and solve problems in real life. 5 - 6 years old is an important stage to develop children's interests. Mathematics education in this stage covers four major aspects: Logical Thinking, Geometry Exploration, Arithmetic Concepts & Math in Real Life. While teaching children simple mathematics knowledge, more emphasis is placed on cultivating children's learning interests and thinking abilities through both individual and collaborative activities in class. We hope our children will love doing math and have a breadth of math and logic concepts in hand to prepare them for future advanced learning.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations within the 24-hour notice period may incur a fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost. Full refunds are available for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice. In cases of emergency or illness, exceptions can be made at the discretion of the provider.

About Tongyan School
Tongan School is located in Jersey City, New Jersey, separated from Manhattan by a river. The school was established in the Spring of 2014 and it seeks to improve community diversity by promoting Chinese culture, teaching Chinese, and improving young children’s Chinese communication skills. The successful beginning gained increasing attention and support in the following two years. In the Spring of 2016, TongYan School officially registered as a non-profit organization that provides service to the local community. We started to hire professional teaching faculties and open enrollment to all age-level students. The School offers weekend Chinese Language Curriculum Classes and Chinese Language as a Second Language (CSL) Classes. Besides, various cultural and art classes will satisfy the needs of students and parents such as painting, piano, soccer, etc. Tongan School strives to succeed in fully developing students’ Chinese culture and taking responsibility for community diversity achievement.
